Scholarship
Following the framework established by the Professional Women of Winston-Salem (PWWS) in 2000, the Triad Women’s Club has expanded and enhanced the scholarship program for single mothers who live, work, or attend school in the Piedmont Triad area.
The scholarship is intended to help single, working mothers complete their education as they balance the demands of family, work, and school; all while demonstrating a strong commitment to their academic studies.
The scholarship program, in addition to the traditional AA, BA/BS degrees, will now encompass vocational training.

The scholarship program will provide annual scholarships up to $2,000 per person. The program provides funds for tuition and books for one semester or other periods of study at an accredited institution or certification requirements. Qualifying students may apply for more than one semester; an application must be completed each time.
The application submission process will commence over the Spring/Summer, so that the scholarships may be awarded in time for the Fall semester or similar period(s).
The TWC 2024 Scholarship program is pleased to announce applications are now open.
Extended End Date: August 30, 2024.
